Passivation Chemical

Passivation Chemical

PRODUCT CODE :- ARC PASS – 126

Product Description

Passivation chemical s to make metallic material “passive,” that is, less affected or corroded by the environment of future use. Passivation chemical involves formation of an outer layer of shield material that is applied as a micro-coating, formed by chemical reaction with the base material. Passivation chemical is the use of a light coat of a protective material, to create a shell against corrosion. The process of passivation strengthens and preserves the phosphate coating as well as preserve the appearance of metals. The phosphate coat surface can be damaged through mechanical means or any other means of damage. When that happens, the item is once again subject to rusting. For this reason, passivation is need to be performed after phosphating process. This process is been done in a room temperature.
